The Hospitality of upper Swabia and the Special atmosphere characterise for years the Reputation of our Family-run Hotel here in Bad Buchau near the Lake Federsee.
The house is since 1961 in family-owned and -operated since 1984 by Edith and Peter Neudert with caution and a lot of joy to the guests. The hotel has since been modernized and adapted to the wishes of guests.
Peter Neudert is an excellent connoisseur of Bad Buchau & Upper Swabia with its many hidden natural and artistic treasures and he like to help guests with some useful tips for your trip.
Not only the growing number of business travelers, but also the large number of regular guests enjoy the amenities and the silence of the house and feel comfortable.

Bad Buchau – Touristtax
1,50 € per adult person and per night. Children under 16 years and business travellers don´t hav to pay the tourist tax. Guests with ability certification (minimum 80 % disability) get 50% reduction. Guest who has to pay the tourist tax will get at their arrival a guestcard. With this card you will get a lot of reductions and you don´t hav to pay at the entrance of the Federsee foottrail. Bookings of 5 or more days will get the “guestcheckbook”with a lot more interesting reductions and vouchers.

The absolutely big and fresh breakfast surprised and delighted all of our guests. Various ofen fresh breads and bretzels, various types of sausage and salami, Rügenwalder Teewurst, Black Forest ham and cooked ham, honey, nougat cream, delicious homemade jams, cereal selection from the house Faller in Black Forest, salted and unsalted butter, natural yoghurt and fruit yoghurt, orange-, pink grapefruit-, multivitamin- and organic apple juice from the orchard, Norwegian smoked salmon, cheese platter with sliced cheese and Camembert, grilled sausages, white sausages, bacon, horseradish and mustard, fresh fruit salad of seasonal fruits, fruit basket, dried fruit, great tea selection of Messmer ( 15 varieties), Swiss chocolate dark and white, fresh milk cold and hot, freshly scrambled eggs – nature, with herbs, ham or bacon, boiled eggs or omelet of ” happy hens”, mozarella, tomatoes, gherkins, capers, olives and fish specialities…
